In a large move to modernise and open one of France’s oldest train stations to a larger public, The “Gare Saint Lazare” (registered as a national historical landmark), it is planned to transform of wing of the train station into one of the French capital’s trendiest VIP Lounges, “Espace Saint Lazare”.

In this context, Matteo Messervy was asked to implement a creative lighting design on the outer facade of the train station, and to create two large-scale light-art masterpieces to complement the interior design of the new VIP Lounge.
